Flexible Circuits require special handling and processing beyond what is normal best practices for rigid PCB Printed Circuit Board assembly. By definition flexible circuits are flexible and made of different materials that react differently to heat and moisture.

Altronics has experience building tens of thousands of flexible circuits for high reliability and military applications such as Mil spec. J-STD-001 class 3 and others.

Altronics can provide the manufacturing engineering support to help you at the design stage, through prototype and into production of your flex circuit assemblies. We have been successful automating flexible PCB's through the SMT Surface Mount process where others have failed, providing a lower cost machine made volume product.
