The Altronics Vision

Altronics was created with the vision of our founder and CEO Jeff Altschuler. Jeff wanted to build a company to achieve several specific goals:

Take the Technological expertise and best practices of the finest large contract manufacturers, and leave behind their inflexibility and slow responsiveness to create a responsive company that is right-sized for the current New England marketplace, with world class quality and technical capabilities, and flexible customer service.

Electronics Manufacturing as a way of life

Electronics Manufacturing runs in the blood of the Altschuler family. Jeff's father Sam Altschuler is an electronics industry leader and ex President of the IPC - International Printed Circuit and Assembly Trade Association who founded Altron Incorporated, a well respected contract manufacturer of advanced electronic interconnect products in 1970 and grew the company to $200M in annual sales before it was acquired by Sanmina in 1998. Jeff is fortunate to have his father Sam, and his brother Jim (President of AFS, a financial services company) on the Altronics Board of Directors.

Electronics Manufacturing for the New Millennium

Altronics was founded in 2003 as a "green field" fresh factory. The factory layout and all the specialized assembly equipment was selected around the needs of today's marketplace, not yesterdays paradigms. Each and every process was selected and implemented to support a high mix of product, high technology capability, and rapid changeovers. The company uses modern technologies in every aspect of the operations and is managed by a state of the art server based ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning computer system. The Altronics senior management team is high-energy, customer focused, empowered, each with over 20 years of electronics experience.

Located in Southern New Hampshire, Altronics is located just off Route 3, and minutes from the Massachusetts border where customers have easy access, and there is a local highly trained workforce.

Jeff has over 20 years of experience in high-tech electronics manufacturing. He has held senior positions in the areas of quality, engineering, and operations. Jeff's experience ranges from mid-size firms to small privately held companies, and a highly successful broadband telecom startup! He has a master's degree in business management, and also holds undergraduate degrees in manufacturing engineering, and mechanical design. Jeff' has also earned several formal certifications including ASQC certified quality engineer (CQE), and ISO lead assessor.

Jeff's hands-on technical experience in printed circuit fabrication, circuit board assembly, systems integration, and Total Quality Management systems gives Jeff a unique experience base. Jeff's vertically integrated perspective is a strong force that drives Altronics to anticipate, and exceed customer expectations.
